Your data, deleted when you ask.

How to ask

Email hello@maharalabs.com with the subject "Data deletion". Tell us the email address or phone number we know you by and, if you use our platform, your workspace name. You don't need to give a reason.

We may ask you to confirm the request from that email address so we only delete your data for you. We reply within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm it in writing.

What we delete

• Your account, profile and sign-in details.
• The access we hold for any platform you connected (Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok), and the data we received through it: the list of pages, channels and ad accounts, posts and drafts, comments and messages, lead-form submissions, and page and ad results.
• Your enquiries and chat conversations, and any contact, lead or message records about you.
• Call recordings and transcripts, and files you uploaded.

What we keep, and why

• Invoices and accounting records we must keep under Canadian tax law (seven years).
• If you asked us to stop contacting you, a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address or phone number on our do-not-contact list, so we never contact you again by mistake.
• Totals and statistics that no longer identify you.

Copies in our providers' routine backups are overwritten on their own schedule and are not restored for other use.

Remove our app from your accounts

Removing our app stops our access at once. If you use our platform, you can also disconnect any account from its Connections page.

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or facebook.com/settings?tab=applications), then remove Mahara Labs. Facebook tells us and we delete the data automatically; see the status check below.
• Instagram: Settings → Accounts Center → Apps and websites (business accounts connect through Facebook, so removing it there also covers Instagram).
• Google and YouTube: myaccount.google.com/connections (Third-party apps & services), choose Mahara Labs, then Delete all connections.
• LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services (or linkedin.com/psettings/permitted-services), then remove Mahara Labs.
• TikTok:Profile → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions (Manage app permissions), then remove Mahara Labs. For TikTok for Business, remove it under the ad account's app permissions.

Removing the app stops new access; to have the data we already received deleted too, email hello@maharalabs.com as above (Facebook sends that request for you).
